Pharmacy Research and Evidence Translation Award

Pharmacy Digital Innovation and AI Award
Recognizes early-career pharmacists who have shown exceptional promise, initiative, and impact within the first years of professional practice.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Licensed pharmacist practicing in the UAE.
- Be practicing in hospital, community, academic, industry, or regulatory pharmacy settings.

Demonstrate at least 2 of the following achievements:
- Led or implemented a digital transformation initiative that enhanced pharmacy practice or patient care.
- Introduced or applied artificial intelligence (AI) or other emerging technologies to improve pharmacy services or clinical decision-making.
- Implemented automation or technology-enabled solutions that improved pharmacy operations, dispensing, or medication management.
- Redesigned workflows or processes to improve efficiency, service quality, patient safety, or operational performance.
- Demonstrated measurable improvements resulting from the innovation (e.g., reduced medication errors, improved turnaround time, enhanced patient outcomes, increased productivity, or cost savings).
- Evidence of professional development activities (CPD, certifications, projects).

Pharmacist of the Year
Recognizes outstanding pharmacists who have demonstrated exceptional professional achievement, leadership, and impact on patient care and the pharmacy profession.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Licensed pharmacist practicing in the UAE.
- Minimum 7 years of pharmacy experience.

Demonstrate evidence of excellence in at least 3 of the following areas:
- Measurable clinical or patient care outcomes
- Medication safety and quality improvement
- Leadership and service development
- Innovation in pharmacy practice
- National contribution to the pharmacy profession or healthcare system
- Research publications or scientific presentations
- Mentoring and workforce development
- Policy development or influence
- Preferably holds a postgraduate qualification (Master’s degree, PharmD, PhD, Residency, Fellowship, or equivalent advanced professional qualification).

Pharmacy Research and Evidence Translation Award
Recognizes pharmacists who have made significant contributions to pharmaceutical sciences, clinical research, and academia.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Pharmacist, academic, or researcher affiliated with a UAE institution or internationally.
- Hold a postgraduate academic qualification (Master’s degree or PhD).
- Published research related to pharmacy practice or pharmaceutical sciences within the last 3 years.

Demonstrate how their work has influenced at least one of the following:
- Clinical practice
- Clinical guidelines or standards of care
- Pharmacy education and training
- Healthcare policy or decision-making
- Patient outcomes
- Quality improvement initiatives
